21st Century Neurology was founded as a private practice in April 2001 by Dr.
Stephen Flitman, a board-certified neurologist who completed training in
Neurology at the Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix, Arizona) and
additional training in Cognitive Neuroscience at the National Institutes of
Health (Bethesda, Maryland).
The practice focuses on memory disorders such as
Alzheimer's disease and alleviating painful conditions like migraine. We are
dedicated to advancing knowledge in the treatment of neurological disorders.
We are contracted with major insurance plans and also accept fee for service.
The Research division has its own website now,
and continues to be extremely active in FDA-supervised and IRB-approved clinical trials
for Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and painful
neurological conditions like Fibromyalgia and Neuropathy.
